Private classes
Private and semi-private classes (for individuals, couples, and small groups) offer a fully tailored experience. Upon reservation, you are encouraged to share your goals and expectations, so that the session can be customised accordingly. My offerings include the following practices, which can be explored individually or combined for a truly tailored experience.
Hatha Yoga
A Hatha yoga class provides an all-round, balanced practice for all practitioners, even beginners. It is a slower-paced class, where postures are held for longer periods of time. Breathwork and meditation are usually included in Hatha classes.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa flow, or flow yoga, promotes strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. It is a dynamic practice where we flow from one pose to next, connected by the breath. It is best done in the morning to wake-up and energize the body for the day ahead.
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a slow-paced forma of yoga where poses are held for 3 to 5 minutes, working on the ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia. It is the opposite of a vinyasa flow class, that works mainly the muscles.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is very gentle, slow-paced and relaxed practice designed to promote deep relaxation, nervous system regulation, and physical and emotional well-being. We use bolsters, blankets, and other props to find the most relaxing poses and we stay there for a long time, allowing the body to completely let go of tension.
Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra, or the “yogic sleep”, is a guided relaxation practice designed to bring deep rest to body and mind. Many benefits of Yoga Nidra have been demonstrated by research, including reducing chronic pain, depression, anxiety, insomnia, and PTSD. Guided by the words of the teacher, the practitioner will assess a state of deep relaxation, melting away stress and letting inner peace unfolds. Best practiced mid-morning or mid-afternoon.
Loving-kindness (Metta) meditation
Loving-Kindness Meditation, or Metta meditation, is a designed to cultivate unconditional love, compassion, and goodwill - first toward oneself and then expanding outward to others. Rooted in ancient traditions but supported by modern psychology and neuroscience, this practice has been shown to reduce stress, increase emotional resilience, and enhance social connection.
Seated (Zazen) meditation
Zazen is a form of silent, open-awareness meditation that emphasizes stillness, breath awareness, and presence. Unlike guided meditations or practices focused on visualization, zazen is about simply being - observing thoughts as they arise without attachment or judgment.
Guided meditation
A guided meditation with visualisation is a soothing inner journey that blends mindfulness with the power of imagination. Themes may include grounding, emotional release, self-love, inner peace, clarity, or connecting with your future self. This practice helps quiet the mind, ease tension, and reconnect you with your inner clarity, creativity, and sense of calm.
